Lambda sensor narrow band heated lambda (HEGO) sensor for exhaust emissions

The two white wires can be wired either way round.

The sensor should be mounted as close as is possible to where all of the exhaust runners first become one.

Any air leaks in the exhaust before the sensor will cause the sensor to consider the engine to have a fuel mixture leaner than actually exists.
